Going Nautical

This summers trend of dock shoes and sailor stripes has everyone going nautical. Thanks to Dallas based photographer, Sara Kerens, use of prop styling, the best of Nest has been included in the mix. Paper Works by Paper Nerds:Silk Screen Workshop

I had a blast this past weekend at the Paper Works by Paper Nerds silk screen workshop. The ladies of the Center Of Art Conservation, Shannon and Tish, host monthly DIY paper workshops in their studio. We created silk screen art from simple house hold items and printed on card stock. Myself and my crafting guru partner in crime, Celeste, tried to crank out as many designs as we could. See our journey below.

Party Pics: ITC Event at Nest

A few weeks ago, the Italian Trade Commission sponsored a loft gallery opening at Nest kicking off a 2 week event featuring Italian product at the store.  {Have you seen Heather's behind the scenes invasion}

Guest mingled with Italian artists, Mauro Tacconi, Robbie Shackleford, and Tiziano Bonanni. Other work shown in the gallery included artist Fabrizio Ferrari.
