In Our Nest: Shop Don Carney Art and Stationery
It's the little things...
I met with a new Nest Interior Design client up at the store this week and, since I don't often make it out of our Dragon Street design studio these days, I always love my trips up to Nest to see the new selections. Honestly, I can't leave the store without getting at least a little something! It's especially easy to find things since our buyer, Donald Fowler, has been bringing in great new buys at lower price points for us cost-consious impulse buyers. You know, it's the little things that make me happy! Here's what I managed to bring home...
I couldn't resist this Seletti door sign! I had been thinking about getting one for my bathroom, but I hadn't even noticed the baby sign until my son Maxton was born. When you have guests over for a drink, it's a great way to show your company that there's a baby sleeping. Oh, and did I mention it's on sale for $8.75??

Donald had been trying to convince us all to use the COR face wash he brought into the store. Since I was pregnant at the time and didn't want to try anything new, I had to sit back and listen to the rest of my coworkers gush over their new found flawless skin. That is, until this week!! I brought home the travel size for only $14 to give it a try and I feel like a new woman. This stuff is amazing!!
There's nothing like a good glass of wine after a long day... especially when you drink it out of a recycled beer bottle. At only $9 a pop, I love these Sol glasses! Sometimes the experience of the vessel you're drinking out of is just as special as the drink itself.

Creep The Musical
Our office is buzzing with excitement as we anxiously await the performance of Creep The Musical written by our very own Donald Fowler. Creep is "The Very, Very Sad but Unfortunately True Story and Fabricated Tale Of Jack The Ripper". From writing the book, music and lyrics (several songs were transcribed with the help of other musicians), this playwright did it all!
Check out Donald's interview at Dallas Voice or view the page on Facebook. You can listen to an audio interview with him here. Hurry to get what tickets may still be available!
