A Quiet Little Marriage

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend a private screening of "A Quiet Little Marriage" at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Presented by the Lone Star Film Festival, the screening was followed by a Q+A with the lead actors and the films producer. Amazingly, the film was finished just shy of 16 days, with only some scenes rehearsed. I thought it was refreshing and very well acted. This film has won such awards as the Grand Jury Award, Narrative Competition, at SLAMDANCE, Winner of the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival, and the Official Selection of AFI Film Festival . A Quiet Little Marriage stars Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Cy Carter and is available to rent on Netflix.
